Give me your next surface pattern design or illustration gig* and you'll be giddy with the result - or a round of Beyonce tix on me!
Well, personally, I couldn't get off that darn waitlist (#renaissancefail), but I take this promise seriously. You will love the process and outcome or I will work my Bootylicious tail off until I get you what you need. PERIOD.
*And when I say gig - I'm def open to long-term relationships too (no commitment issues here).
You're in the right place.
Not having an internal design team or not knowing where to begin with designs that highlight your intention shouldn't cause you angst, keep you up at night (that's what kiddos are for), or even cost you sales.
You're the jam to my bread. You're the chocolate to my peanut butter. You're the... avocado to my toast? (Is that still a thing?)
Anyhoo, I got you, boo. Step into my well appointed Zoom room.
I'll bring the virtual almond milk lattes.
I left full-time "workin' for the man" J-O-B-S and started my business because there's an inclusivity and representation shaped gap in this creative market.
Including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Gender Equality
I've got the KSA's.
- A formal education in business management and marketing has afforded me a strong foundation upon which I build Haus of The Willits Way. (Like Mr. Kim says, "Deep root, big fruit.")
- After identifying an addiction to people-pleasing my way up a corporate ladder, leaving me a completely empty shell of a person, I took a sharp left into the design industry.
- As a project manager in interior design for years, I've honed not only my systems and processes, but also have elevated my taste level so much that Salt BAE should be concerned.
- Parlay ALL THAT along with some Midwestern charm and a forte for digital art... Baby, you got a stew goin'!
I'm your gal.
TL;DR - Beyonce wasn't built in a day.
I live in Indiana, the good ol' Crossroads of America, with my supportive and loving husband and the best 4 babies around (2 fur and 2 skin). We take dance parties very seriously in our neck of the woods.
Think you can hang?
Let's fire up the Pizazz ('cause when pizza's on a bagel, you can eat pizza anytime) for some appe-teasers, and get our very own pattern party started.
Owner, Pattern Designer & Illustrator
Jessica is an entrepreneur passionate about partnering with other business owners who are gosh darn good people doing great things. She's a graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, with some other Marketing goodies thrown in there too. Jessica then worked in corporate environments for years afterward. Her passions led her to the design industry and she hasn't looked back.
Now, Jessica runs her own show at The Willits Way and implements her design experience into her freelance and contract work. Balancing both analytical and creative sides of the brain takes some heavy lifting, but hey, somebody's gotta do it!
"Frankly it couldn't have gone better."
